Grandpa Roberts no like Joe Biden:
For the last 15 years, Biden has been saying that women, and only women, can suffer from domestic violence.
Try telling that to the three young children of Clayton Carter, who watched in horror as he was run over by his wife with their Ford SUV. This past week Marquetta Jordan pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Washington DC.
What an astonishing claim. Or at least, it would be…if it were true. (hey, is ifitweretrue.com available?):
WASHINGTON, D.C. ? Taking the next step in the fight to protect our nation?s children, U.S. Senators Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Joe Biden (D-DE) today introduced the Violence Against Children Act. This legislation provides a comprehensive approach to combating violent crimes against children by increasing federal criminal penalties for crimes against kids and authorizing federal grants for law enforcement and nonprofit organizations that provide emergency medical treatment and counseling to children. (May 1, 2003.)
Or, you know, that time Sen. Biden said the following 2 years ago:
Protecting the most vulnerable among us ? battered women and their children ? is not only our responsibility it is our moral obligation. This Office is a big part of our efforts to do that, and I am extremely happy that after a bit of arm twisting, the Bush Administration has recognized its importance.
Behold the power of Joe Biden!
When women kill their husbands and ex-boyfriends, the media never use the term, “domestic violence.” That’s because according to Mr. Biden, only men commit DV.
Never heard of Carey Roberts before?
Carey Roberts is an analyst and commentator on political correctness. His best-known work was an expos? on Marxism and radical feminism.
Somehow the idea of Roberts exposing radical feminism reminds us of the old Woody Allen joke about oral contraception: “I asked a girl to sleep with me and she said no.”
