This is the type of wingnuttery I simply adore:

Those beautiful words resonate throughout history as our Forefathers acknowledged a higher power, a belief in God, a belief of freedom for all men…stated in our Constitution.
Do those words appear in the Constitution? Sadly, No! Any wingnut who lectures you on the wisdom of the Founding Fathers and doesn’t even know the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence should be ridiculed into total silence.
Hey Fee- the United States Constitution can be found here. You might wanna actually read it the next time you claim that America was founded as a Jesusocracy.
UPDATE: Fee has corrected without mention of her original error. Thankfully, we have the Google cache to remind us of what was.

I’ll bet you anything the White House hired Ken Lay to teach those in-house ethics classes…

Knock-knock. Who’s there? It’s Political Humor again.
I guess the multinational socialist blogger[*] is basically saying “hey! I love it when you guys cut and run and encourage the terrorists to attack you, and I love good ole’ Murtha for bringing it all on, but, you gotta give the Republicans some credit for that, too”!
On the humor front, one method is to use funny graphics, like this:

Now, if you have time to spare, read the following which will show that in April, which is when the Republican statement was issued, things were going well. The mission at the time seemed to be accomplished….
A timeline on Somalia follows which ends in October, ’93. This is shortly after things really started to go to hell there, and about a month after treasonous Democrat Murtha supposedly stabbed America in the back urging a cowardly cut-and-run strategy — emboldening Bin Laden, who later blew up the World Trade Center, etc. Which presumably also means that it’s Murtha’s fault when anything bad happens in Iraq. Oooh, that Murtha!
On the other hand, in ’93, with US troops having been killed in Mogadishu, Republicans were determined to “stay the course” and “win the war.”** That’s a big, new WingNet meme. We’re starting to feel like we’ve heard that one a couple times before.
But there’s a little song beloved by children of pure hearts all across this wonderful world of ours, and it goes — Sadly, No!

I’ve got artichokes to trim and mayonnaise to whisk over here, but our friend at Political Humor keeps dangling bait in front of our glittering eyes — and truly, if there’s one thing we can’t resist, it’s bait.
Master-bait, that is!
He’s onto a new meme that’s taking the WingNet by storm, about how Jack Murtha urged a pullout from Somalia, and how Murtha is therefore to blame for the rise of Bin Laden, and so on and so forth, et cetera. We’ll probably be hearing this one a lot in coming weeks — or at least until another Democrat replaces Jack Murtha as the WingNet’s Emmanuel Goldstein of the moment. Take it away, Political Humor:
