Nice seeing you again Aunt Mostert, but we have to go now

At Renew America, Mary Mostert asks:

After all, people with tuberculosis can receive a quarantine order issued by their County Department of Health that requires them to remain in an institution for at least 6 months, while taking anti-tuberculosis medicines, until they are no longer contagious. Why aren’t we doing the same with those infected with HIV?

The answer is:

Could it be because we’d have to quarantine so many people in government and in the media…

Does this have anything to do with Jews’ love for anal sex?

Shorter Wall Street Journal Editorial

Wise Counsel

2005 renders quaint some of Al Gonzales’ arguments for giving the executive the legal authority to torture prisoners.

Credit goes to the usual suspects for the shorter concept.

Blogtopia’s version of Three Strikes and You’re Out!

Brad Reed points out Kaye Grogan’s latest masterpiece and asks that we consider piling on.

Yet given that Brad, The Editors and Apostropher have taken a whack, we think we’ll sit this one out.

That had to be it really

Renew America takes a look at conspiracy theories:

Billionaire George Soros–whose large contributions helped Barack Obama in Illinois…

Yeah, with only 70% of the vote it’s quite clear that Barack needed the $12,000 he received from George Soros.

Such developments raise questions about who–or what–is behind apparent shenanigans, of various types, that arise to jeopardize our constitutional republic.

Shenanigans! We call shenanigans on you!

Fortunately, Renew America knows who is behind these shenanigans:

That cannot happen, of course–or even be attempted–without a vast LEFTWING conspiracy.

If you have the patience, be sure to read through the comments posted, which feature some awar winning insights such as:

  • Fraud, Intimidation, and Terrorism is at the heart of the DNC!
  • Another Conspiracy Theory that has the ring of truth is the one about the New World Order. This phrase has been used by George H.W. Bush, Coffe Anan, and thrown about rather loosely and openly at the Koyoto Tready convention.
  • What do I know about conspiracies? That most of them are idiotic inventions of the mischievious and those with too much time on their hands. There are some real ones, which can be proven, such as the Vast LEFTWING Conspiracy. This has existed since Karl Marx wrote his Manifesto and it reached our shores in the late 1850s. It got its largest boost in the 1930s with the advent of Socialist FDR and his Soviet Union-loving wife.
  • Why do you think the Democrats are in bed (literally) with the Muslim Terrorists? They both use terroristic tactics to establish some sort of tyrrany over the entire world, starting with the U.S.

We’d give you more but just couldn’t read any further.

  • Take that, Jesus!

It seems that we were a bit too distracted by the Gl?hwein this holiday season and actually missed Brian Cherry‘s latest column, titled Help, help, I’m being repressed:

It’s as regular as the swallows returning to Capistrano, or Ted Kennedy being carried, drunken, from a brothel.

So Brian, did your mom also tell you whether Senator Kennedy is a good tipper?

This year the ACLU has been on the receiving end of a jolly, holiday rogering.

Now would be a good time to return to Brian’s earlier column, titled Why do these homosexuals keep sucking my cock? (1)

generally making elected ass?s of themselves

You’ve made an ass’ out of us, Brian.

Liberal fear of Christians is obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes and common sense. The fear runs so deep that covering their ears and singing LA LA LA LA is no longer good enough when the name of Christ is mentioned.

Actually, we normally sing (8) We are family (8) when Jesus’ name is mentioned.

There are several sexual practices that Christians don’t believe is right in the eyes of God but the most viscous thing these inhuman, church-going monsters tend to do in the face of adultery or fornication is pray for those involved in the act.

You know, Brian, if you’re having viscousity problems a tube of this should do the trick.

As long as we are talking about Christianity and sex let us not forget that Jesus spent much of his time with a prostitute named Mary. With Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy running the Democratic Party, Jesus’s association with this lady of the evening should warrant him at least a cabinet position[.]

Can he be Secretary of kicking Brian in the nuts? We predict a swift confirmation by the Senate.

Most American’s, Christian and non-Christian, oppose bestowing upon those who proudly wear their triangles in their pants a much higher level of rights.

    They wear their triangles where?

They [Liberals] behave this way because they believe in God as deeply as the most devout Baptist or Catholic, they just hate him. This is one of the ways they think they can hurt him.

Can you think of other ways to hurt Jesus, dear readers? Leave your suggestions in the comments, and we promise to send them to Brian.

Great Moments in German Parliamentary Debates

Some people tape Canadian Parliament on C-SPAN, others would do well to tape German Parliament on Deutsche Welle:

But the tabloid Bild noted the day’s real three-ring circus: the statement by an opposition parliamentarian accusing German Foreign Minister Fischer of policies that have brought a wave of “under the table workers, prostitutes, human smuggling” from Eastern Europe. “And you’re their pimp, if I may, Mr. Federal Minister,” he said, to consternation throughout the Reichstag building.

    May you? Sadly, No!

    Now that’s classy

Nothing says class like using someone’s death as an opportunity to plug your book:

While I disagreed strongly with Matsui‘s stance on the WWII evacuation/relocation/internment and his opposition to anti-terror threat profiling (see pp. xvi-xvii of In Defense of Internment), he was a dedicated public servant.

It’s like rock bottom, only deeper

You really can’t add anything to this [of course, that won’t stop us from trying:]

Administration officials are preparing long-range plans for indefinitely imprisoning suspected terrorists whom they do not want to set free or turn over to courts in the United States or other countries, according to intelligence, defense and diplomatic officials.

One proposal under review is the transfer of large numbers of Afghan, Saudi and Yemeni detainees from the military’s Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, detention center into new U.S.-built prisons in their home countries. The prisons would be operated by those countries, but the State Department, where this idea originated, would ask them to abide by recognized human rights standards and would monitor compliance, the senior administration official said.

As Ray Krok used to say (PDF link🙂

We are particular about our franchisees because they are the people who make McDonald’s successful ? restaurant by restaurant and city by city.

[Scooby McClellan]President Bush is particular about our franchise prisons and torture center because they are the people that make the Us of A successful — dog bite by dog bite, terror fightin’ friend by terror fightin’ friend.[/Scooby McClellan]

The CIA had floated a proposal to build an isolated prison with the intent of keeping it secret, one intelligence official said. That was dismissed immediately as impractical.

We like this indefinite detention in a secret prison thing — it’s just so impractical! Maybe they can bring in this architect to help with their plans:

This is a 12-story block combining classical neo-Georgian features with the efficiency of modern techniques. The tenants arrive here and are carried along the corridor on a conveyor belt in extreme comfort, past murals depicting Mediterranean scenes, towards the rotating knives. The last twenty feet of the corridor are heavily soundproofed.

Meanwhile, Senator Carl Levin shows that in a contest of Who has more balls, Ann Coulter or Senator Levin, he would be the loser:

“There must be some modicum, some semblance of due process … if you’re going to detain people, whether it’s for life or whether it’s for years,” Levin said, also on Fox.

Nice work Senator — nothing says USA like a sprinkle of due process, with a nice serving of renditioning.

    Happy new year, everybody!

    You first, Henry

Henry Lamb, (last seen here,) offers a few legislative proposals for 2005:

Untold millions of tax dollars are given each year to non-government organizations that do nothing more than churn out propaganda to advance their particular agenda. Government grants should be limited to service-delivery organizations that provide food, shelter and health services to the needy…

Henry, as you might know, is the executive vice president of Sovereignty International:

    Your gift is tax-deductible!

    Sadly, No More! (Maybe.)

    Happy New Year Everybody!

Although by now you’ve probably heard that one already. As we ready ourselves to return home tomorrow and resume wanking it up for you, we take a quick look at yesterday’s Wall Street Journal editorial:

In the U.S. and Australia, George W. Bush and John Howard decisively won contests framed as referendums on their handling of the war on terror.

As far as Australia is concerned, we can happily say (thanks to Tim Lambert’s excellent posts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,) Sadly, No!
