Two Minute America’s Shittiest Website™ Symposium

Clint Bollocks: Obama’s election is just the excuse we need to throw affirmative action out the window.
Linda “Not Cesar or Hugo” Chavez: America can no longer be called a racist country inasmuch as only 48% of the country voted against the Negro. Latinas, however, are still fucked.
Roger Clodd: If a black man can be elected President, it just goes to show that unemployed blacks are lazy.
Wardell Connerly: The only good thing for whites about a black man in the White House is that we no longer need to feel “white guilt.”
Cakehole James: I’m a black conservative who tried to volunteer to work at the polls on Tuesday. Even though the Democrat there was nice to me and the Republican ignored me, I’m still a Republican who hates Obama.
Deroy Turducken: Jesse Jackson is so screwed.
Abigal Drangundsturm: It doesn’t strike me that the Obama family is really all that black because it has two parents and two beautiful children.
W. Bradford Wilcox IV: The best thing about Barry is he probably won’t have an intern perform fellatio on him in the Oval Office.
I’m still enjoying their bitter tears.
Aaaah, they’re just jealous. They know they won’t be getting any WH (should we still be calling it the White House?) dinner invitations. Yummmm. Fried chicken, collards, chitlins. Yummy. Waterfuckingmelon!
I so totally want them to do a state dinner with that menu.
A link would be good.

I love that – let’s plagiarize Fox so it would be by their own guys…. Teh stoopid™! Though I am sure it would be a hoot to wtch. For the first time or two, much like Conservapedia was really funny but quickly cloyed.
The symposium was amusing, but I really got a kick out of the Mona Charen column on the front page. She says that the Democrats are late to electing a black president; the Republicans were ready in 1996, but Colin Powell robbed them of that chance by not running.
Joe Torre is blogging now?
I meant Lou Pinella, sorry.
If there was any glimmer of hope for conservatives in Tuesday’s election, it was that the election of the first black president will finally settle the question of whether America is a racist country. – L. Chavez

Why do all these turds keep on saying how great America is to elect a black man as the President . No thanks to you assholes . You resisted desegregation , you resisted civil rights , you tried your best to portray blacks as ‘not us’ , you were openly banking your hopes on Bradley effect.
America is great because of liberals and despite the scum like you .
Gotta dissent here. Many of the linked-to comments seem to be coming from a genuinely thoughtful place that deserves to be engaged with. Bolick in particular is not screwing around or masking blind racism, I believe. And Connerly, despite the wrong-headedness of the way he tries to implement his ideas, has a serious point of view that might really lead somewhere if addressed in the right context.
The real miracle of the Obama presidency hasn’t appeared over the horizon yet, but it was foreshadowed in the way he ran his campaign – the man has such deep self-confidence and dignity that, provided he resists the temptation to buy “legitimacy” by stacking the Administration with Clinton-era retreads (not looking great right now!), he may be able to lay the foundation for true cooperation between “Left” and “Right”, a thing which has never happened before. I would honestly not be surprised if we didn’t see *genuinely* new political forms develop in the next 3-5 years.
The best possible thing that could happen to this country would be if each half of the country could stop ignoring the best ideas of the other half, because of mere partisanship. Yeah, I know the Bush Administration, Cheney, and Rove couldn’t do better than that, and that they were stupid immoral fucks for the most part. But they’re gone. The next 4 years are going to be amazing – provided nobody murders Obama. Motherfucking Secret Service better do its job.
I note that these people style themselves experts. Experts on what, one wonders.
One suspects their areas of expertise include the best ways to get poo stains out of one’s undies.

Charen’s diatribe is odd. Her subtitle is Sucking up to a black politician does not mean you are colorblind. After which she describes leading Rebublicans sucking up to Colin Powell in 1995.
And if she thinks Republicans were first in line to run — or more accurately for the GOP, kinda sorta maybe think about running — a black candidate for President, I suggest she look up Jesse Jackson, or even Dick Gregory.
Latinas, however, are still fucked.
Well, the ones who do housework for Linda Chavez certainly are.

Soooo… since America elected a Muslim I suppose it similarly settles the question of whether America is a Christian nation.
Yeah, well you would have thought that electing W settled whether America was an English-speaking nation, but it didn’t.
Gee. Why CAN’T the left and right just work together?
They used to do a pretty good job of it.
Then came the Gingerich congress. Obstruction became the primary goal. Not advancement of “ideas”, not compromise, not even handed governance – simply to obstruct the clinton administration to the extent they attempted (and, with the help of a bunch of opportunistic democrats, nearly succeeded) to overturn the people’s will and remove an elected, sitting president over an extra-marital affair.
But then it got so much worse. You engage with the other side and negotiate in good faith as long as the ideas coming from both sides can be presented as having merit.
Aggressive invasion/occupation/war
Torture
Warrantless wiretaps
Indefinite detention
Habeas Corpus
Corporate giveaways at the expense of good fiscal and environmental policy
Politicization of every branch of government
Lying, secrecy, dishonesty, refusal to allow oversight, arbitrary signing statements, unlimited executive power.
You see, these are not “ideas with merit”. These are, by definition, unamerican and WRONG. You can’t negotiate with them, you can’t compromise with them. You MUST resist them, or you’re not what claim to be anymore (see FISA). The ball is in “the right’s” court. If they want to present some positive ideas, suggest some actual solutions and once again participate in america’s governance, I am certain that the Obama administration will welcome them. But if all they have to offer is corporatist authoritarianism and endless war, they are not welcome and should not be part of the american government…

“W. Bradford Wilcox IV: The best thing about Barry is he probably won’t have an intern perform fellatio on him in the Oval Office.”
That was the best thing about Bush as well.
However, I think Obama’s other good points MAY outshine this one, just a little bit. I don’t know, honesty, some decent progressivism, those things?
Yeah, well you would have thought that electing W settled whether America was an English-speaking nation, but it didn’t.
Electing Bush confirmed what I have long suspected: America is a gibberish-speaking nation.
Well, electing Obama should have settled the question of whether people mired in a shithole will recognize a calm, confident backhoe operator, but then we hear from wingnuts…

I read that and went to Ms. du Toit’s page. Wow, they went on a world cruise but they’re still begging for money? I think there is a word for her readers, they’re called “marks”.
Then I read her “Right Thinking” section expecting to see something about how to think wingnut style. She even promised it wouldn’t be about conservatism but about thinking correctly. It’s bizarre, though I think it offers a good insight into the Authoritarian mind. If that’s something one would want.

With all this talk of conciliation, is it time to beat swords into ploughshares? I am hoping to find out
(a) How this is done (if I tried it, I would only end up with a pile of bent metal and a sore arm); and
(b) What a ploughshare actually looks like. Is it anything like a time-share on a plough? That does not seem particularly practical because all the farmers would want it at the same time.
[…] Sadly, No!, in its inimitable fashion, has used its “shorter” concept to reduce some conservatives’ election reactions to their core, showing what the word gracious doesn’t mean. […]
I am perfectly willing to beat swords into ploughshares. Coincidentally, most wingnut pundits have ploughshare shaped heads.
We got a trackback from ALAN COLMES??
I suspect one could beat swords for hours on end, but in my experience, when I have beat idiots into a state of unconsciousness, upon awaking and recovering from their injuries, they were still idiots.
Which is not to say that if you beat a sword hard enough and long enough, it will still be a sword.
In fact, while it may be many things at that point, the most likely of which would be best classified as “abstract sculpture”, it will certainly no longer be a sword.
Your point about ploughshares is very well taken. Having no idea what a ploughshare is, or what it might even look like, one might actually successfully beat a sword until it has become a ploughshare, only to continue beating it well past that point due to an utter failure to recognize the accomplishment of the stated goal…

Having Barack Obama as our nation’s President-elect does not mean racism has been expunged, any more than Sarah Palin’s vice presidential bid means beauty pageant contestants will now be chosen from the ranks of those high school students who wish to attend mock UN’s at their state capitol.
No, we certainly won’t complain about racism anymore. Not after Obama opens the camps. Speaking of which, I’ve been doing an awful lot of knitting over the last 8 years…

Quelle horreur. Just a reminder about a bunch of ungracious “winners” and their post-inauguration lies, which ended up costing the taxpayers $200,000.
Plough blades are huge, heavy things, which closer resemble an axe than a sword. It would take half a dozen swords to make one, and they would have to be melted down. A plough blade would probably be made from “hammer steel” of about 4-5% carbon, but swords are made of steel closer related to what you get in springs. In Africa they make knives out of old lorry springs.
However, it is pretty simple to cut up a sword to make smaller knives or cleavers. Making a scythe could also be practical. I think the average village blacksmith wouldn’t waste such good steel on a ploughshare though.
Thunder:
Yeah, I saw Brooks on FTN, trying to compare the ’64 Goldwater blowout with 2008. The point he missed was that, in ’64, Goldwater’s ideas on governing were mostly theoretical, since nobody had really tried actually doing them for a while, and the Guilded Age was so, so long ago. In 2008, we’re coming off an an eight year nightmare of what happens when wingtards and ideologues actually GET to run things. Possibly the only thing we can thank Bush for is finally driving the last wooden stake through the heart of Conservatism.

I am beginning to suspect that Isaiah is not a reliable guide to the economics of agrarian existence in Old Testament Palestine. I mean, he goes on to predict that spears will be beaten into pruning hooks. Hello? How many pruning hooks does one village need?
Well, I’m not entirely sure what ploughshares are, but I’m told that thermonuclear explosives are great at converting swords into them.

…and how it’s different from regular racism.
The fact is, reverse racism is when the real racists, the blacks, are revleaed to be the racists by saying racist over and over. White people are not racist, they are now a minority and seeing the blacks and illegals getting advantages over them, which is biased.

The fact is, reverse racism is when there’s racism but it isn’t black people suffering for white people’s benefit, like it says in the Bible.
Real-gary, ?-As4S4, is an arsenic sulfide mineral. It is a soft, sectile mineral occurring in monoclinic crystals, or in granular, compact, or powdery form, often in association with the related mineral, orpiment (As2S3). It is orange-red in colour, melts at 320 °C, and burns with a bluish flame releasing fumes of arsenic and sulfur. Real-gary is soft with a Mohs hardness of 1.5 to 2 and has a specific gravity of 3.5. Its molecular weight is 106.99. Its streak is orange colored. Real-gary has a sub-metallic luster.
Its name comes from Arabic rahj al-ghar – ‘powder of the mine,’ via Catalan, Middle Latin, and Middle English, though this comes through a misreading, the original name was rahj al-f?r – ‘rat powder’, due to its use as a rodenticide
The fact is, Gary isn’t entertaining because he’s just going through the motions and probably doesn’t even believe what he’s saying.

the beating idiots thing. He says that when they awoke, were still idiots.
I believe it may have something to do with the amount of time that the beating occurred. I suggest that more testing is necessary, and possible the idiots referenced at the top of the point will serve as IdEAL subjects… my first postulate would be that the beating needs to be continued beyond the point where the idiot in question loses consciousness in order to be fully effective…
‘Orpiment’ is now my favourite word, and I shall not cease from exploration until I find a way of working it into the conversation.
.Also, if Real Gary is arsenical, is the anti-Gary a cynical arse,.
Arsole, rarely called arsenole, is a cyclic organoarsenic chemical compound of the formula C4H5As. The structure is isoelectronic to that of pyrrole except that an arsenic atom is substituted for the nitrogen atom and that arsole is only mildly aromatic. Arsole itself does exist but is rarely found in its pure form. Several substituted analogs called arsoles also exist
And here I thought arsehole was just another work for anus…
Gary has his own t-shirt!
Mikey, you might be right. But the Gary Ruppert tradition is hard to let go of (or Guillermo Ruperto, for that matter).
Smut Clyde, how do you feel about the phrase volcanic fumaroles?

and Gary’s is overlaid with old lace.
Reverse Racism is similar to milhouse van houten’s theory of reverse vampires
…and mildly aromatic
…which can be applied universally
Reverse racism is just like regular racism except that it doesn’t actually exist.
Arsole itself does exist but is rarely found in its pure form. Several substituted analogs called arsoles also exist.
It is most commonly found in the White House in Washington, DC although the supply is expected to be greatly depleted by the end of January next year.
Reverse racism is just like regular racism except that it doesn’t actually exist.

But if you’re hoping for genuine criminal accountability, I’m afraid you’re setting yourself up for a pretty deep disappointment…

So it’s not so bad, now, is it?

Hey Guest,
It’s more like the the national prison break has just begun. Every move we make will be followed with a spot light, sniping from the towers and howling dogs.
At least until these pundits are so marginalized, and republicans in general so destitute, that voting for the common good seems sensible again.
The unfortunate thing is that this is the soft line for the GOP on rape – the hard one being that being forced to answer for forcing yourself on someone is a terrible offense, the accused is the real victim, etc.
Don’t get me started on rape shield laws – I think at some points the aim of protecting the victim from badgering by the accused crosses over into an assumption of guilt – but seriously, are we really better for having a mainstream party which is objectively pro-rape?
The problem, sir, is not the hard right but the center right. Harry Reid – who evidently only feels passion is appropriate when someone has attempted to bribe him on camera – has already declared that There’s No Mandate For Upsetting Anyone’s Apple Carts, and the beltway had begun reciting this talking point and going on about ‘moderation’ before anyone had called Ohio.
I don’t think it’s a matter of us playing defense, it’s a matter of us being the only player on the team actually aiming for the other guys’ basket. Reid, for some fucking reason, is terrified to death of actually presiding over Democratic legislation – terrified enough that my half-jocular belief that he’d suddenly grow a spine on Election Day has turned into a glum near-certainty. The right has been completely disarmed, but our own party’s leaders are tripping over themselves to make further concessions to these dangerous enemies so near and dear to Americans’ heart.
America has elected a relatively liberal President who goes into office with more excitement and happiness than we’ve seen since, fuck if I even know, Kennedy maybe – and we’re being lectured by people who wear our colors about how terrible it would be if he suddenly decided to be extremist enough to undo the proud achievements of history’s worst president.
We have met the enemy and he is David Broder.
Hey,
Also, I fail at complete sentences I guess. Plus, lol, I said ‘common good’, does that make me some kind of Marxist? I can’t keep up with the script!
Don’t worry, RUGGED.
In B. Hussein X’s classless worker’s paradise, pelican wranglers will earn the same as beer distributors.
Reid is a Mormon, remember. That’s a cult. More so than still pathetic “mainstream” religion. He cannot be trusted, as you never know when his Mormon masters will ask him to help maintain the staus quo.
Hey guest d00d – this site got me through some very rough times and we may be in for more, who knows. So chill ok?
Get the fuck off playing Defense, ok?
Please don’t assume. I volunteered and went door to door. I did something. I’d also rethink your strategy of yelling at people in order to make friends. My guess is that won’t work so well.
Can’t we point and laugh AND do grassroots organizing?
Hey Noen,
Sheesh, you aren’t playing along. See the way projection works is: everyone that comments on blogs is a member of the 101st Fightin’ Keyboard Brigade, and as such never does shit except occasionally get a fresh bag of Cheetos.
See, if I don’t ever do shit except complain about other people’s behavior, it must, must, be the case that no one else ever does shit either!
Can’t we point and laugh AND do grass…
Yes, we can!
Many of the linked-to comments seem to be coming from a genuinely thoughtful place that deserves to be engaged with.
Wait, there’s a response taking form in my head. It’s coming. Hold on. Almost there.
Oh, yeah – fuck that shit.
I’d also rethink your strategy of yelling at people in order to make friends. My guess is that won’t work so well.
You know, I’ve been trying to make this point to (usually young) in-your-face political activists for twenty years now, and it never seems to take. Could be because I’m not very persuasive, or it could be that there is in the ranks of impassioned political activists an uncomfortably large number of jerks.
Your own kind of activism, going door to door and, I assume, being civil and a good representative of your cause, actually does work. I’m not sure how that lesson is communicated. By example, I guess.
Anyway, seconded and well done.
Hey RWS,
No, no, no. That’s not how it works. Serious Liberals, in order to be taken seriously, must engage with the “genuinely thoughtful” Serious Conservatives. The only problem with our Guest’s suggestion is the trouble of finding actual genuinely thoughtful, serious conservatives. Daniel Larison doesn’t count though; I think he’s in the tank for Obama (so even if he’s thoughtful, he’s not serious!).
See what I did there?
What are these “friends,” & is there a way besides yelling to make them? (It?)
I get winded easily, & too much yelling’s out.
Guest:
I don’t think you understand the basic premise of this website.
Um, Rugged?
Let me help by reminding you.
We DO own submachine guns.
I’m going over to Mikey’s house to play.
I don’t think you understand the basic premise of this website.
No, I think there’s a point there – instead of the Doughy Pantload and people like that, it is the “genuinely thoughtful” conservatives who should be told to tonguejack our shitboxes.
The Symposium of Expert Opinion seems to be every non-Anglo rabid weasel they could drag from under a rock. None of them really “expert” in much beside cutting off their noses for face-spite.
Late to the thread — what’s up with the concern troll? He’s radiating sociopathy and passive-aggression with every word. Do Not Want, Do Not Need. Begone!
The only reason there are “thoughtful conservative” is because conservatives believe anything they’re told over and over. It’s repitition that makes conservatives respectable, not their racist, selfish ideas. If you wait until they’re considered respectable it’s too late to take them down.
Eviscerate the Doughboy now, before he grows into a respectable scholar by sheer repittion of calling liberals and the New Deal fascist.
Plus, it’s fun. He’s really, really stupid.
Hey, bouffant.
It’s getting cold and shit.
You ok?
Can we?…
mikey
Can’t we point and laugh
One at a time, please. I don’t multi-task.
how do you feel about the phrase volcanic fumaroles?
That is indeed the language of poetry. Even so, the words do not agitate the meth-addled hamsters that operate my mental machinery to the extent that ‘orpiment’ does. Or ‘astragalus’, which is currently my second-favourite word.
In the ideal world, “Astragalus Orpiments” would be a variety of chicken (possibly featherless and hypo-allergenic).
There is a good reason why people like me are not invited to design phonetic alphabets… otherwise RT conversation would be all “Roger that, and Astragalus Orpiment Kibosh”.
radiating sociopathy and passive-aggression
.oh, is it Monday already?
Shorter Guest: If you are not at least as serious as Obsidian Wings*, then you are part of the problem. If you even read a word written by a conservative less serious than Brent Scowcroft, then your politics are silly.
* A website I adore, by the way.
Pelicans are……oh, crap….this election has really demoralized me.
Darn… I really wanted to hear about the pelicans. 🙁
protecting the victim from badgering by the accused
Badgering fuckers.
No, I think there’s a point there – instead of the Doughy Pantload and people like that, it is the “genuinely thoughtful” conservatives who should be told to tonguejack our shitboxes.
Wouldn’t you rather have a genuinely thoughtful tonguejacking?
Speak of the devil, hilzoy has spoken on exactly this issue today.
That dude in the photo has some seriously shitty posture.
Sit up straight, shithead, if you want me to engage with you. Quit slouching.
Wouldn’t you rather have a genuinely thoughtful tonguejacking?
Exactly!
Brent Scowcroft can tonguejack my shitbox.
That dude in the photo has some seriously shitty posture.
c’mon, now – he’s CONCENTRATING (just check the finger!)
c’mon, now – he’s CONCENTRATING (just check the finger!)
Plus he’s had a long day. That email is timestamped 4:00 A.M., after all.
Err, not email, article. Or whatever.
Concern trolls can tonguejack my substituted arsenole analog*.
*Technically known as a garsenole.
How reasonable and sane and left-of-center they sound at Obsidion Wings.
Tonguejack that shit. Anybody who calls himself a Republican after the last eight years is a fool with sadistic tendencies. Reasonably discuss what–torture? Killing innocent Iraqis? Blowing up which little boys and girls? How socialist Obama is?
No. You pull a weed up by the roots. You state over and over and over that conservative values are inhumane and unChristian. And massive failures. Massive, massive failures. Make Republican synonymous with loser.
vvv
ou LIEbrals aare already measuring Ohdamnit’s drapes and meanwhile, he’s planning on taking away our rights to own submachine guns, which is against the 2nd commandment.
I call fake Rugged, someone is not trying very hard…..
Yikes. You serious, Susan?
‘Cause if you leave them no place to retreat to, you have to kill them. Hard, and cold, and knowing what you did.
I’d like to propose another path. Anyone on the right who would like to join this coalition has amnesty. If you only supported the bush policies, you never had a position where you functionally enabled them, you are invited to join us in making peace. In going someplace where the people benefit, and where government is about making the people better off.
Peace is not the same as surrender. And peace is what we are striving for…

Orpiment:
Orpiment is an orange to yellow mineral that is found worldwide, and occurs as a sublimation product in volcanic fumaroles.
Example of using orpiment in a sentence:
“Jonah Goldberg’s fingers were covered in a fine powder resembling Orpiment, as though he had been fingering a volcanic fumarole. Alas! It was only Cheetos.”
Astragalus Orpiments
With orange zest and balsamic vinegar? Grilled?
Delish!!
Hmmm, boy I guessed the meaning of that word wrong.
I thought it was like, “when she said ‘you get a car, you get a car, you get a car,’ I thought what Orpiment was that everyone watching was getting a car.”
Anyone on the right who would like to join this coalition has amnesty.
Actually, I prefer the idea suggested to Carmella Soprano by a psychiatrist, when she insisted that there was some way that she could save her husband by staying with him –
I’m happy to place a bulk order with Amazon for the paperback version. Now we just need a place to lock them up.
Example of using orpiment in a sentence:
Another example:
I like olives stuffed with onions orpiment os.
I’m happy to place a bulk order with Amazon for the paperback version. Now we just need a place to lock them up.
I hear GITMO has some vacancies.
NEWS FLASH: it turns out teh wingnuts were totally right – about everything … & now it’s payback time!
We are never going to get peace. We never have and we never will. We are not saints, we are humans, usually damaged and twisted humans at that. We are at the point where our country and fellow citizens will let our leaders torture innocent people and take away our civil rights. We have to repudiate those ideas and those people, before we can do anything else. That’s why arrest and trials would be so beneficial for the country.
Perhaps the Republican Party will implode, fracturing into a powerless Christianist faction and a money class with more narrow interests and we won’t need to do much else. But the upper class will still be using Republican ideas to dupe the under classes.
Alas! It was only Cheeto‘s.”
The possessive apostrophe is necessary here, to indicate whose (non-volcanic) fumarole had been fingered.
Obviously my subconscious mind is smarter than I are.
Susan, I may be damaged but I’ve been working on some of the kinks. Heh, not that. But my knees are all shot to hell.
I do think we’ll see a Christianist faction but the upper class still holds the keys. Ron Paul found that out. Could be a lot of fireworks.
Turns out the blogosphere’s grownups, none of whom visit here, thank god, are also looking at this same dilema:
Yup, a reading group at Gitmo is what they need.
Wow, whoever it was upthread who pointed to the blog by Mrs. duToit wasn’t kidding. It’s industrial-strength cluelessness.
First she informs us that Kim hasn’t worked for 5 years; blogging has been his “job” because he has gout. The gout has finally gone into remission because he got his stomach stapled. But his full-time blogging “job” never brought in more than $500 per month, and they are deeply in debt. She liquidated her IRA last year and they used the money (I’m not making this up) for a round-the-world vacation with the kids, and to pay for stomach-staple surgery for their college-aged daughter. Having burned through the retirement fund, apparently then things got really tight, and they consulted a bankruptcy attorney only to learn that whoops! – to the contrary, all that right-wing blather they’ve been listening to all these years and no doubt believed – bankruptcy isn’t a “get out of paying back your debts free” card.
If I wanted to be really unkind, I’d start by suggesting that the type of obesity that requires stomach-stapling is probably the reason why the gout never went into remission, and noting that since they have a college-aged daughter who also needed the procedure, perhaps they could cut their budget by, you know, buying less food. But I don’t want to be really unkind, so I’ll just point out that in wingnut world, “personal responsibility” translates into liquidating your retirement fund not for the purpose of paying off your debts, or covering your living expenses, but for round-the-world vacations with the kids and stomach-stapling operations for young adults who probably could lose weight if they practiced, you know, personal responsibility in terms of diet and exercise. And that further, after having purchased said unnecessary items, “personal responsibility” further means meeting with an attorney to see if there isn’t some way of weaseling out from paying back debt you racked up by, among other things, sitting on your ass all day blogging and buying round-the-world vacations.
The mind, it wobbles.
Your Daily Broder.
I wish teh blogging brought in $500 a month for me (in 6 years, it has made less that $200). But yeah, what Jennifer said: personal responsibility seems to be pretty far down the list of core values chez DuToit.
And I’m with Susan of Texas. Have we forgotten the arrogance of Tom Delay and Dick Armey, the hypocrisy of Henry Hyde, the antics of Ken “panty sniffer” Starr? These are not reasonable people you work with by day and share a convivial beverage with after work.
Reverse theft is also a major problem. Some sick, twisted bastards find it satisfying to give money and things to people who don’t have those things… These reverse thieves need to be stopped! Some of them go so far as to reverse-steal food for godsake! They reverse-steal it at children, even! Won’t someone think only of their own children, for once?
…really? I fell that far behind in the time it took to type that? Damn…
Clearly we all (read: you all) need lives. 😀
Your Daily Broder.
They really need to update that photo. Isn’t Broder, like, a hundred and two years old or something?
The truth is sooooo upsetting to the freepers. They have been getting away with intellectual dishonesty for so long they are finding it difficult to disguise their racism with illogical arguments.
Nobody knows how old Broder is. It’s believed that he crossed over the Bering Strait into America near the close of the last Ice Age and wandered southwards following the mastodons and giant ground sloths.
mastodons and giant ground sloths also accurately describes Broder’s perception and analytical skills.
The typing is strictly a 1,000 monkeys affair.
Guest is attacking the city!
Oh, good Lord…
Do not view with mouth full of beverage.
And dust off that dashiki.
Hey Justme,
SO SORRY: Jim scooped you on that by like an hour, dude!
Guy Woe is there to remind us what a fucked up ride it’s been: http://www.mnftiu.cc/category/gywo/war1/
Reid is a Mormon, remember. That’s a cult. More so than still pathetic “mainstream” religion. He cannot be trusted, as you never know when his Mormon masters will ask him to help maintain the staus quo.
That’s a fairly paranoid statement.
Diebold !!!!
M. Bouffant! Haven’t heard from ya for a while.. how are you?
Meh, such is life. I wasn’t going to plow through the whole thread to see if that were the case. I am that fucking lazy.
And yeah, I too have been a GYWO fan since pretty damn near the beginning. My interest tapered off as his posting did. The videos are pretty damn good though.
I think sometimes, “Fuck all. Has it really been that long?”
But his full-time blogging “job” never brought in more than $500 per month, and they are deeply in debt.
Sounds like time for a round of good ol’ American Pulling Oneself Up By One’s Bootstraps!
Sounds like time for a round of good ol’ American Pulling Oneself Up By One’s Bootstraps!
They don’t make bootstraps that strong.
Symposium?
I’m surprised anybody attended since from the neaderthalic wing, “symposium” probably means there’s a wind section.
“Pass” instead of “wood” in their case, though.
You can’t have a real symposium without hetaerae. And drinking games.
Needs graphic. Drinking games.
“symposium” probably means there’s a wind section.
I promise that in this case, the entire symposium was a wind section.
Thanks for teeing that one up!
My pleasure, OneMan…someone had to do it.
SC: now that’s fairly balanced!
…I got nothin’.

provided he resists the temptation to buy “legitimacy” by stacking the Administration with Clinton-era retreads (not looking great right now!), he may be able to lay the foundation for true cooperation between “Left” and “Right”,
I had to respond. For someone who is being so earnest and serious there is a very unserious RNC talking point in the middle of your essay that just has to be delt with.
They are not retreads, they are the most experienced people possible who the President trusts to implement his agenda. The fact that you insult them as retreads shows that you don’t quite understand how administrations are formed and what works and what does not work. Experience works. People who you trust works. Hiring nice middle of the road academics or municiple politicians simply because they are bipartizan does not work. That would be the FAIL.
People did not go after Bush for hiring Ford and Nixon retreads Cheney and Rumsfeld; why would they, as much as I may disagree with them ideologically, they were very well qualified.
Conservative commentators have issued a talking point and made you swallow it. Be more cautious next time.
I felt sad because everybody here thinks i’m dumb, but then I read “faggot pope of black USA” and suddenly everything was ok again.
‘Cause if you leave them no place to retreat to, you have to kill them. Hard, and cold, and knowing what you did.
I’d like to propose another path. Anyone on the right who would like to join this coalition has amnesty.
Again, Mikey has a grasp of the implications of using the GOP “total war upon all those who dared to opposed us” tactics, now that we’re the ones with the heavy hammer.
That path leads to Ulster, and the Gaza Strip, and Provincias Vascongadas, and all the other places on this planet where grudge-bearing, bitter people make war upon The Other until the end of time, all because they feel that to do otherwise is to “surrender” and be weak.
This is not the way. This should not be OUR way.
We are better than this. ‘Cause if we’re not, then we might as well just admit we’re Tom Delay with a slightly more erudite rap, and fuck all the high-minded progressive shit.
